You may not have a choice, but if you do, I recommend you stay with XP until Windows 7 at the end of October. Vista is a pain, but reparts on the early public releases of W7 seem to be pretty favorable. My wife's computer has Vista. I will wait. YMMV. EDIT: Got mixed up on my Win 7 release date.
