I think your responses indicate which poster is utilizing the least amount of brain cells Robert.
The fact that you defend a site that attacks the guardians of the freedoms and rights of individuals, of women, of minorities, entities such as newspapers, the ACLU, PETA, UNIONS, NOW, Newsweek, President Obama, the peace symbol, Pro-Choice,planned Parenthood, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times. puts to lie your statement that such sites as you defend are for "everyone"
The initial post by you, with it's "artwork" clearly defines you, and those you support.
Your last posting clearly defines the extent to which you have failed to examine the state of your beliefs, and what you stand for.
As I stated in my initial response, the most evil and destructive of organizations have always used the emotion power of keywords such as people, freedom, rights, patriotic, and homeland (or motherland, or fatherland) to entice people who refuse to look beyond the titles and names, to see the ugliness beneath such groups.
You twisted that posting to insinuate that I called for the silencing of such groups. Most dishonest of you, Robert.
And in the ending of that posting, which I am now addressing, You state "everything the same, for non-whites, women, and anyone
else who stands for America's principles" - while ignoring the fact that your very first posting, the picture you are so proud of, and defend so passionately clearly is biased and hostile to anyone who is outside your narrow thought processes, even as your last retort, in your last posting reinforces that picture with it's petty insult.
Do try harder next time, because I get bored - its so easy to highlight the hypocrisy of your statements when you have already provided the means for such in your previous missives.
My idea of America is a robust living dynamic nation, attempting to mesh the beliefs, the cultures, the differences of so many millions of people into a nation able to provide the means for living up to the ideals expressed in Our Constitution's Preamble:
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union,
establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common
defence, promote
the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our
Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of
America."
Yours seems to be the "foolish caricature", a set of ideals based on a system held static in time, stuck 230 years in the past, unyielding to a modern world constantly changing to reflect technology, the racial composition of the population, the age , the abilities and desires of that population, a caricature based on a fantasy, distorted by the passage of time, and the fading of memories.
