I'll give you one example of corruption.

Hospital budgets here and in the rest of Europe were 30% for medicine and 70% for wages, doctors, techs nurses etc.

A few years ago, here in GR, a neo-liberal government decided that they should let medicine prices free and let the competition take care of it. HAHAHA!! competition my ASS!

Now we're at 70% medicine and 30% wages. There is corruption inside the hospitals where doctors describe the most expensive medicine because they get gifts from pharmaceutical companies even though there are alternatives exactly the same that are very cheap. Plus, the price of that medicine is 2 times higher than the same medicine in another country, for example France, or Netherlands, or Belgium, hey... the importing company sends gifts too!!!

New gov says is working on a solution. We'll see!
