Not sure what to buy for that Democrat or Socialist on your Xmas list?
Looking for a fun way to share "holiday sneers" with your loved ones?
Here's an idea, for those who love to proclaim, "Happy Winter Solstice!"

Just in time for the holiday season, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is offering a set of Poetry Magnets as thanks for your donation. Each large magnet is divided into 55 small magnets.
It contains a selection of words to enable Democrats bitter about their shellacking in November to express frustration in a grown-up manner ...by writing mean-spirited messages on their refrigerators.
A couple days ago, the DSCC sent out this urgent appeal for money (via email).
Keep in mind, this marketing scheme is coming from America's best and brightest Democrats. The DSCC is not some crackpot lobbyist group. These are your leaders -- the Senate majority -- running our country for at least the next two years.

Subject: Palin Poetry
Dear friend,
Need a perfect gift for the Democrats on your list? Here's one: The DSCC's very own poetry magnet. It features words like "Sarah Palin," "Tea Party" and "wrong" -- just what you need to turn any refrigerator -- or desk, or locker -- into a political statement.
Click here to order the DSCC's poetry magnet for the special holiday price of 2 for $10!
When you order our poetry magnets, you're not just getting a fun gift. You're helping to elect Democrats to the Senate, and that's never been more important. The Senate is a crucial check to the crazy ideas coming from GOP extremists in the House, and we've got an important filing deadline on Dec. 31. Every magnet you buy helps ensure that we can raise the needed funds, recruit the best candidates, run the best campaigns and keep the Senate blue.

We here at the DSCC appreciate all you've done for Democrats this past year. Thanks for your continued support, and happy holidays!
Sincerely,
J.B. Poersch

Ah yes, Democratic Fridge Poetry Magnets....
Just what every American family needs as they congregate in the kitchen, right?
As you share eggnog and cookies, here are a few possibilities:
Rush Limbaugh is bad.
Republicans. I hope they fail.
Glenn Beck is an extremist.
Birthers are crazy.
I hate Sarah Palin.
Destroy the Tea Party.
Surely it was an oversight, but the DSCC conveniently includes magnets for "Obama" and "Democrats," which could be substituted in any of the above phrases. Be careful, lest your conservative guests might expose other ideas, "Obama is an extremist. The Tea Party is right." ...oops :-)
If this message (and attitude) of the Democrat leadership is any indicator of our future, is it any wonder the populace is becoming disgruntled?
Whatever happened to the liberal ideologies of Tolerance and Unity? ...better yet, does anyone believe they ever truly existed?
Weren't we told that Obama would be the Great Unifier -- there would be no more red states, or blue states, just the United States? Wasn't the 2008 electon supposed to end the racial and political divisions?
We've all experienced sarcasm and insults at the lower levels (internet comments, forums, etc.), but is this the best we can expect from our Senators? Is there another direction they could possibly go?
OMG, is this the path to Hope and Change?

If you look at the DSCC donation page, the core problem becomes obvious:
Fight the Tea Party ??
If you're wearing your secret decoder ring, you'll know that means, "ignore the will of the people."
Look, these politicians aren't stupid -- but they'd like to think we are. It's tough for them to accept, but deep inside they know the Tea Party movement is a true grassroots uprising, and is destined to clean out both parties, out of both houses of Congress in 2012. And God willing, a new President as a bonus too.
Did you notice the word "independent" is conspicuously missing from their magnet? Must we really choose either Republican or Democrat? ...Must we fight? ...Really? ...Why?

Also missing from their happy little message are the words Liberty, Freedom, Truth, Rule of Law, Rights, Justice, and Independence. I guess thinking about such things puts someone into the "crazy" category, huh?
Of course, the most glaring omission on this magnet, is the word, "Constitution". Does anyone know when it became hateful, dangerous, unfair, or bigoted to talk about the very foundation of American society?

Just for grins and giggles, here are a few comments from another site:
If they hated Bin Laden half as much as they hate us, we would have won the war on terror already.
These are the same people who have had control of Congress for 4 years and the presidency for 2. That explains a lot.
It will give them something else to play with as they wait for the much expanded 2012 edition.
Refrigerator poetry magnets? Further proof Marxists are our intellectual superiors.
Did the goofs that came up with this idea graduate from Harvard or Yale? Their parents must be so proud, as they had to mortgage the farm to pay for their education.
These are the people who wrote the ObamaCare bill, Porkulus, Card Check, Food Safety, DREAM Act, and bought us a couple of car companies. No wonder they now swell the ranks of the unemployed.
Notice the word "hate" prominently displayed in the upper-right corner? Is that a Freudian slip from the party that hates America, freedom, limited government, the Founders, the "nuclear family" and individualism?
Notice the two biggest words are "ME" and "I".
The refrigerator magnet should have an appropriate disclaimer,
"G.E. used a 140 billion dollar bailout to make this refrigerator"
Oh yeah -- well the Democrats have cooties. Take that.
