Actually, the profile data is not accurate if you have been around along time. It doesn't go further back than 2001.
I've been here since 1996. I believe the paid memberships started in Feb of 1997 --I'm going off memory here, so I could be wrong. I think the charter lifetime membership was something like $12. Later I bought a lifetime membership for my Son even though I knew he wouldn't use it much just as a contribution. The account has probably been disabled by now for lack of activity.
I think 1995 is correct for when Nonags began.

How long has Nonags been active? Jim, of course, is the one to provide those details. Several times in the past he has said 1995. I notice the WaPo quote (above) is from 1996.
A whois search of the dot com name shows it was registered in February of 1997 -- but back then you'll probably remember all the different Mirror sites. Does anyone miss dialup, and bandwidth usage?
The WayBack Machine (archive.org) started scanning this site in July of '97.
How long have YOU been a lifetime member of Nonags? If you're like me, you were probably gobbling up the freeware goodies long before you handed over your cash.
After you've logged in, click the Profile link (user settings) in the upper right corner. Voilą, mon ami. :-)
