There are a lot of freeware apps that do this sort of thing. But I'm not sure what the right "name" is either. :-)
A suggestion? ...Get a full site downloader (ripper), and get familiar with it. Then, when you want files -- whether they're pictures, videos, or executables -- you'll be ready. Most will allow you to just download a single page (with the attached files) but sometimes you might want to snag a whole site.
For years, I've been using a program called HTTrack. I've tried a lot of site downloaders, and even though this one's not pretty, I've never found anything close to its performance. There's a slight learning curve, but it's worth it. One important note though -- pay attention to the "included/excluded" file options -- limiting which types of files you want will save you time (and disk space).
