Thanks... I'm still here, and well, yes, I did 6 rounds of chemo over 8 months for Leukemia, in 2004.
The Doc said I was in remission in January 2005 and gave me the spiel about "You're in remission, you're not cured."
I asked him, "If I eventually die of something else without having had a relapse, could we say I was cured?"
He started, kind of laughed,  and said "I've never heard it put that way, but yes."
I said "I'm going out and buying a motorcycle."

I've been trying to remember the name of the member back in the old days who was Mormon, didn't like off-color jokes, and went off on a mission?
