AntivirusMulti is a freeware software (opensource under NewBSD License) that allows using multiple antivirus engine with multiple signature virus list and mutiple heuristic logic for a better result against viruses .  
 
Using the program AntivirusMulti you can install more antivirus and leave only one run for default.  
You can monitor a directory ,for example file sharing directory, with more antivirus , so you guaranteed with more targeted protection of virus signatures and more heuristic engines in areas prone to virus contamination without overloading the pc.
