Natwarlal is our brand new chess engine. It is a friendly chess program which aspires to become your favourite sparring partner. No longer do you have to search for a opponent when you want to play chess! And when you can't find your way out of a tight situation, you can always ask Natwarlal for a hint!  
 
It comes bundled with Winboard in a nifty installer. However, if you already have Winboard then you can download just the engine instead. Winboard is a well known GUI for chess engines. You can do a lot of things with Natwarlal and Winboard together! Here are some of the features of Natwarlal:  
 
Play short blitz games or longer, tournament style games  
Take back moves, Natwarlal won't complain!  
Adjust Natwarlal's playing strength  
You don't have to go search for a partner to play chess!  
Ask for a hint if you get into trouble  
Load and resume saved games  
Natwarlal dosen't cost a dime. Its completely free!  
Watch Natwarlal play against itself!  
Cheat and switch sides if you are losing!  
 
We have also bundled Natwarlal (Installer version) with 98 Games played by GM Vishwanathan Anand, one of the finest players of chess ever, and quite possibly the strongest chess player today.
