NoDupe is a fast duplicate file finder. It uses advanced file matching technology to search your PC and Network Attached Storage for files, directories or music which are duplicates or each other, regardless of the files' names. NoDupe finds duplicate music files by looking at the actual music rather than meta information embedded in the files (which is often different even for the same song). If you want to find music, then look at the music. NoDupe is the only tool to do this, and so the only one to guarantee you're finding duplicate files. NoDupe is also the only tool available to find duplicate directories. Combined with the duplicate music option, this allows you to find entire duplicate albums. NoDupe has a simple to use interface, and comes pre-configured ready to perform the most common tasks (search all files, music). For your protection, by default NoDupe will stay away from important system files and place any deleted files in the recycle bin. You'll also be warned if you're trying to delete all copies of a file, or if you're deleting lots of files.
