This is an application for story-writers who want to brain-storm. SLang lets you store the basic building-blocks of your story as events. You can then define rules to specify how they relate to each other, called dependency rules . Given the events and the rules, SLang generates a workable ordering of your events which fits the rules. It can deal with stories which have multiple threads (plot, sub-plot etc.) and allows you to experiment with alternative routes through your story from start to end. The whole story can be exported to RTF, TXT file or to my screen-writing tool ScriptMaker (see home-page).
