SocketMaster was created for the purpose of creating your own customised TCP Socket Server. It allows you to specify the listening port, user accounts and custom commands for the server, so that people can retrieve information and text files.  
 
For example;  
Your company updates it's sales figures daily in a text file. You want to allow someone from outside to view this text file. You create the Server using Socket Master, and require authentication upon connection.  
 
You then create a custom command such as 'sales!' and tell Socket Master where the daily sales figures text file is located. Then all the outsider needs to do is connect to your Socket Master Server via telnet, authorise and then type sales! to retrieve the text file.
