Split Files Shell Extension is a free, helpful Windows 95/98 and Windows NT/2000 utility designed for anyone who frequently works with oversized files. It works with the Windows 95/98/NT Explorer right-click menu to offer a quick and easy way to split large files into smaller pieces, directly onto floppies or to any other drive on your system.Eight predefined file sizes are available, along with a custom setting to allow you to specify the file size or the files number. A merge facility allows you to rejoin split files. Split Files Shell Extension is simple to set up and easy to use. Split Files Shell Extension includes features such as : New command to the context menu for files.  
Allows you to split a file into smaller pieces.  
After the file is split you can merge the pieces created by this shell extension to retrieve the original file  
without to use the program or by using  
this program.  
A page is added to the Properties dialog box for Split files.
